Honest telecommute jobs and how to search for them

Telecommuting jobs are godsends for many people for many reasons. With the downturn of the economy many people have lost their jobs, have had their weekly hours lowered or hourly rate cut in half. In situations like these, it can be hard to make ends meet and even harder to find a new job or part time job to make up the lost hours.

Telecommuting jobs are jobs you can work from home usually on your computer, so it is vital that you have good internet connection. The most popular telecommuting jobs are in freelance writing, customer service, data entry and surveys. I personally don't have much faith in making any money from any survey sites and will not be discussing them.

There are many freelance writing jobs that will bring in extra money to your bank account every month. You can write for sites like Demand Studios-they pay you for every article you write. However, they have a list of articles for you to choose from, you don't get to choose the subjects at random. Another site is ninerniner, that pays you for blog posts on one of their 32 blogs. Demand Studios pays a lot more money than ninerniner and runs a more professional ship, but ninerniner is also good for extra income.

To search for honest and legitimate telecommuting jobs you should search on google and other websites with the names of companies you may be interested in working for. If you see forums where people are complaining or calling the company a fraud or a scam, cross that company off of your list. Why take the risk? You don't want to be one of those people complaining about the company on that same site in a couple of months.

Search sites like helium, ehow, associated content (all legitimate residual sites) and see what the members have to say in their articles about certain businesses you may be interested in. There will most probably be articles talking about legitimate and honest sites and you can learn tips on how to succeed on them.

If you are ready to put in some hours applying and finding the right job for you, you will not be disappointed. You can make a significant income from telecommuting jobs but you have to understand that it does require real work; only its work done from home.To see more about finding a legitimate telecommute job you can go here.
