Chase Bank, also known as J.P Morgan Chase, is one of the strongest banks in the United States, having taken over Washington Mutual and Bank One. They have branches all over the United States and their selection of credit cards is hard to beat.

Credit cards are good things to have in times of emergencies and when they also reward you for being their customer it is wise to take advantage of them. What is great about Chase is that they have many no annual fee credit cards and so you can reap the benefits at no cost to yourself if you manage your credit wisely.

You have received a credit card offer for a Chase credit card in the mail and seen the offer that the Chase Freedom card has going right now- $50 cash bonus after you make your first purchase. You may be thinking that the offer sounds too good to be true and that there has to be a catch. The offer is legitimate, Chase is a legitimate and prime bank but there is a way to understand their offer.

Chase bank credit cards sometimes have cash back, airline mile, or rewards offers that you get for every dollar you spend. Chase banks on people spending more money than they can pay back every month because they are focusing on the rewards. When the consumer is unable to pay the balance in full, they are charged interest, usually at an APR ranging from 9-29%. The interest charged on purchases is more than enough to pay the relatively small amount of cash back to the customer and still reap a hefty profit. In effect, the more you spend hoping to get rewards, the better deal that Chase gets. However, if you pay your bill off in full every month you are actually beating the system. You are making money without having to pay any interest.

There are some websites where people who have recently applied for chase credit cards input their fico scores. It seems that people with fico scores starting at 670 are getting approved for their credit cards. If your score falls slightly short of that, you can try and improve your credit scores using these tips.

Before you apply for a Chase credit card you should decide which one is for you. To find out which Chase credit card is the best for you should check out this site.
