The Absolute Truth is a person. He is the Absolute Personality of Godhead. Once realization of God occurs within the spirit soul, all knowledge is realized. The spirit soul is full of eternal knowledge and bliss. We become covered by the contaminations of the material world. This can be seen by observing a child losing their innocence. Nothing is actually lost. It's just hidden by the layers of material chaos. There are many translations for Sanskrit words. Two translations for Veda are truth and knowledge. The Vedas are the keys to realizing the Absolute Truth. All scriptures stem from the ancient Vedas found in India. It is a collection of Absolute Sciences that covers every subject imaginable.
What we consider science and truth in our modern world is always changing. We have a theory, we prove it, and we call it truth. Time goes by and someone disproves it, or adds to it. This is not real truth. If it were truth than we would not be constantly editing text books, and putting out new editions of encyclopedias every year. This is what's called illusion, or maya. Eastern religions and philosophies are based on going beyond this illusion and seeing the Absolute Truth. All religion was originally formed to help us reconnect with the Absolute. If Absolute Truth does not exist, than why does religion?
Absolute Truth is extremely hard to prove, because it is not material. We live in a material world, and things of a spiritual nature cannot be seen; they must be realized. Each of us are eternal living entities in material bodies. Once the Absolute Truth is realized, we can leave this material world and join the spiritual world. Absolute Truth can only be seen through the eyes of a self realized soul. Self realization is a hard process, and many people falsely believe themselves to be self realized when they're not. To be self realized means to know that you're not the body, but a living entity. It means knowing your relationship with God.
It is natural for us to see the duality in all things. Just as the Absolute Truth is spiritual, duality is material. We see the dualities in nature, such as male and female; light and dark; birth and death. Seeing the dualities throughout our lives, how are we to believe anything can be absolute? Realistically, the only way to understand the Absolute Truth is to undergo the process described in the Vedas and realize it for yourself. There are many skeptics who insist that Absolute Truth does not exist, so why don't they try the process and find out?
