Who are you?! Are you supposed to be me?
I don't think so, cause' you walk around like you're free.
See me, I have debt and bills still un-paid,
but you walk around like you got it made.
Using my social, my name , my address
and at night you are wondering why you cannot rest?
Cause' the life that you stole is replete with pain,
I know you thought you'd see financial gain.
But stealing my name comes with a heavy price,
If you want to stop suffering, give me back my life.
Did you really think you'd get away with this?
Steal all that I've worked for, and you still live in bliss?
You had to know there'd be a price to pay,
Now from my past you can't escape.
My identity is not all that you stole,
It wasn't just money in my bill-fold.
You have with you now a piece of me-
my financial problems and insanity.
You now have a chance to live my life
If I'm not mistaken, that's what you wanted right?
I thought you should know I filed bankruptcy
Not just financial, but emotionally.
And finally last night, I laid down and I slept,
with no more worries of identity theft.
