I was looking through a book I had over 30 years: Halley's Bible Handbook. It stated that there were Two women: the Harlot of Revelation 17:18 and the True Bride of Christ also called a City, the New Jerusalme, the Holy City Revelation 19:7, Revelation 21:2, 9. The Harlot Church and the True Church thus in antithesis are set the one over against the other. The Harlot Church, the external kingdom of God, has become the End-Time Church, ruled by Satan. This authority has been given by God to rule over the external Church (2Thessalonians 2:1-12).

In the external kingdom of God which is an earthly representation of the heavenly kingdom of God has two types of members who hear the word of God (Matthew 13:24-30 The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares Matthew 13:47-52 The Parable of the Dragnet.)

The saved, the redeemed by God, will be in the heavenly Kingdom of God, the eternal Kingdom of God. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 (New King James Version Bible) says, 13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 1 Peter 1:2 (NKJV) says, 2 elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

This antithesis of the two types of members in the external kingdom of God can also be seen in Luke 13:34 (NKJV) says, 34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! John 16:2 (NKJV) says, 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.

In the Middle Ages Satan was obnoxious in the Roman Catholic Church. The papal system was so corrupt and greatly distorted the words of God, the Bible, that it brought forth the Protestant Reformation. Even after the Reformation we must keep in mind that Satan is still in the external kingdom of God. Matthew 13:24-30 (NKJV) says, 24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the
