America is losing its moral values

Yes. I believe that America is losing its moral values. Just turn on the TV. I personally love shows that are funny or comedic. But when I switched on the television for the past month, I could not find any of those shows. What I did find was CSI, NCIS, law programs, etc. Why is every other channel on the TV about forensics? Not only are these shows playing, they do not care what they present to viewers. I have not seen one of these shows without seeing dead bodies, blood everywhere, gruesome attacks, etc. Not only are they multiplying on the television, they never have comedic or funny episodes. None of them make people feel happy.

Second, are our teenagers. Almost all of my cousins have children young such as at the age of 18 years old. This really bothers me. They are cutting off their fun years to raise children with no husbands or boyfriends. Hopefully someone gets to the bottom of this, because I do not understand it.

The politicians are the worst ones. CEO's of failing companies receive millions of dollars that they probably don't even need, while the middle and lower class are losing their homes and living in tents in California. Representatives of these companies go on television and say We have to cut 2,000 jobs, without even a look of compassion. The owners of many large companies are greedy, and most of them only look at money, and don't see the people behind it who work to make it that way.

NASA sends a satellite to crash into the moon without any degree of care to what the people want. They want to find a water source on the moon and someday I guess they want to send people to another planet to live? This is what tax dollars go to. The smartest people in the world...looking for aliens. That must be the best job in the world. No worry about fixing satellites or creating better defense systems. We want to crash things into the moon and find aliens. Ridiculous.

In conclusion, I really believe that money is the root of all evil. People see money and will do anything possible to get it and keep it, even if they don't really need it. People are losing jobs, houses, dignity, and hope. They are wondering if any of those rich people will see their plight, and care about them. Morals, compassion, empathy they have gone out of the window. And all we are left with is a big debt.
