Poetry: Who am I?

by Sierra Rose

Created on: October 11, 2009   Last Updated: October 12, 2009

When it really comes down to it,
Who am I?

When thick comes to thin,
And the truth is unearthed,
What is the purpose of my life?
Who am I?

When it really comes down to it,
How will I be remembered?
Or will I even be remembered at all?

I've never been the religious one in my family,
But I've only got one life on this earth.
One chance,
To be who I want to make of myself.

So today,
I'm going to reshape myself
And rid myself of sin.
And discover who I really am.

For I only have one life.
And I'm going to live it.
