Earth's busboy fumbles,

Platonic plates soon feel the jumble

RUMBLE

RUMBLE

Slipping,

Crack-ing,

Shift-

ing,

F

A

L

L

ing,

Hot steam released,

Hot molten creeks,

A fiber-optic delight, fear and excite,

The lava flows all through the night,

Down to the sea, it cools and is seized,

An island born,

Kilauea's progeny
