When the last bell of the day rang, Jacob could finally let himself relax. All day long he'd been dreading what would happen today, October 31st. The hints had been dropped on him like pellets from the sky. The cheerleaders, football players, even the chess club members had all been throwing comments his way since the beginning of the school year. Seemed no one could let last year go.
The memory of his prank last year had sufficed to keep a grin on his face for most of the summer. But ever since school had started he had become increasingly worried about what the repercussions would be. He didn't think they would do anything too horrible, but one never knew what another would do. And considering the extent of his own prank, almost anything could happen.

" I'd rather be polite, then rude, you know that." she said, batting her eyes and swatting him with a leaf of her costume, "So, you still worried about whats going to happen, or did they get you already?"
"Nothing's happened yet, but we aren't home either."
"I don't think anything is going to happen. Everyones probably just been messing with your mind all this time."
"Lets hope you're right, the suspense has got me about to jump out of my skin!"
Exiting the school, the two friends made their way to the student lot, Sandy chattering away about her day and Jacob looking around suspiciously, expecting the worse. Every where he imagined that people were looking at him, giggling or whispering. He wasn't imagining things. The whole student body was scattered around the lot, muttering to themselves and watching Jacob walk to his car. Strange how revenge for a joke could bring every different clique in a high school to band together. Realizing that everyone
