Poetry: The way you love me

by Edward Earl

Created on: October 11, 2009

The room awash in light;
The world and all its din is deafened;
The air fills with the scent of passion;
Time stands still as you come to me.

Lips come together;
The embrace no longer a thing of dreams;
Lives changed by two spoken words,
"Touch me," you whisper.

Prurience perfected;
Rapture cedes to a seldom known bliss;
Love exchanged thru a gaze of eyes;
Grows with each and every caress.

Timeless devotion blooms;
Trust and yearning that shall never fade;
Two lives and hearts intertwined;
This is how you love me.
