Many people(Christians included)are of the notion that it is when our earthly lives are terminated (death) that we are taken by God to heaven. These people believe that all their loved ones that have died irrespective of their beliefs are in a better place (which some call heaven). Is this notion true? Let us check to see what God's word has to say on this matter:
If you examine the 1st Bible verse above, You would realize that God formed man of the dust of the ground (He was an earthly being,1 Cor 15:47.Also,The Hebrew meaning of His name :Adam means Dust,Ground )and breathed into His nostrils the "breath of life"(Breathed into His soul His Holy Spirit which gives life)and as a result of this man "became" a living soul."Became a living soul" means that God's breath (Holy spirit) transformed Him from being an earthly and "dead soul" into a living one. This means that Man had to depend on God's spirit for life. That is exactly why God told Adam that the consequence of disobedience was death. The implication of foregoing the tree of life(God's Holy spirit)and choosing the tree that makes You Explore Your beastly self I.e Makes you control Your own life and choose what is good and evil for Yourselves outside of Gods garden(makes you non-reliant on God )is that You will be eternally dead to God unless You repent.
The second Bible verse tells us that the Lord took the man and put Him into the garden.Where do You think God took Man from?He took
