Good jobs for teens

For a very large percentage of teenagers still under 16 and without a part-time job, parents are the only source of money, and often this money is not sufficient to buy endless Xbox games and designer clothes. Unfortunately, however, many businesses will only employ those aged over 16.

Thankfully, there are many ways in which teenagers can find work for weekends, evenings and holidays. The pay from different jobs varies although they depend on how willing you are to work and if you're prepared to get your hands dirty. Of course, for the typical teenager who finds it difficult to venture out of his bedroom, there are even some online jobs which can give good pay.

To begin with, the most simple and possibly the best paying jobs consist of doing work for your neighbours and those who live around you in your area. Simply design some flyers with your name and telephone number stating that you can do different jobs for money. E.g. Wash cars, gardening, mowing the lawn, ironing, dog walking, cleaning up, organising things, baby sitting etc. Post these flyers through people's doors living around you and put some flyers up on lampposts and notice boards. You should get a reference letter to say that you are trustworthy as people may not trust a teenager if they don't know you and have no evidence that they can trust you.

Another good way to make some money is to buy and sell products on eBay. This is pretty straight forward but can be fairly risky as you must first buy quite a few of one product. For example, if you decided to sell some Lacoste Polo Shirts, you must first buy about ten of them from a wholesaler. This will be reasonably expensive and will probably cost around $150 (85) and each shirt will sell on eBay for around $35 (20) so this means that if you sell ten of them, after eBay fees, you'll probably make around $140-170 (around 80-110)
Personally, I find it best to use http://www.ioffer.com as it allows you to pay via PayPal and the sellers often ship to any country.

For those of you who are looking for something very simple, you can be paid to fill out surveys on line. The pay for each survey varies but, as long as you keep filling out the surveys, eventually you'll make quite a bit of cash.
There are millions of survey sites on the web but the best ones are probably:
http://www.toluna.com/
http://www.acop.com/
http://www.ciao.com/
http://www.lightspeedpanel.com/
Obviously, you can find many more by just searching Google for on line surveys.
