Technology is a term more often used in computer technology, but did you know that there are alot of other forms of technology in this world as well. The forms we see most off is inudstrial technology and web technology along with military technology. These are main technological advances that we see most often including cars, gasoline, other fuels, buildings, and other machinery. Technology is just a term used to describe the advance from one era to another on resources that we as humans use every day to advance our own lives. There are several different types of technology used today and in this article there are several mentioned. The first four that are most important include electricity, software, industrial tech, and the internet. Explaining these items in detail can be very time consuming but through this article I hope you have a better understanding what technology does for our every day life.

The first reason that technology saves time is the term we all know very well: Electricity. Electricity saves us time and effort and saves us money because we do not have to have mulitmple children and families to do the work of what electricity does. Being able to turn on a light bulb, allows us to extend our work hours through the night and keep things running for 24 hours through out the day. Electricity keeps the fridge going and keeps the freezer going.This one key item-having a fridge with electricity attached- allows us to use food for weeks at a time and to save on food by not having to by fresh from a market every day.. This also saves us on time and energy from our selves having to perform the actions. In the old days you would have to milk the cows to get milk, have chickens to lay eggs, have workers in the field gather them and gathering the vegetables. It's very clear the Electricity is a technology in itself that save us time and allows us more time for other things in our life.

The second reason that technology would save time and effort is the fact that software programs on the net have changed and upgrade so much to the point there is really no need for paper mail any more. Sure we need send bulk items across the ocean and elsewhere but even technology save us time and energy there as the computer keeps track of these items we ship out so we know exactly when they arrive at the post office and when they are being picked up to be delivered to your house. In the old days they used a horse to take mail from city to city.

The third reason that technology saves us time and energy is from the industrial sector of building cars and building other machines. The industrial age brought about many types of companies and products that make our life sweeter and saves us time. For example, the inventions of planes, boats, the steam boat, fairies, high rise buildings, and other services that have been created sense including the invention of the Internet.

The last reason i will discuss is the technology of the internet. The protocols used to run the internet has saved us time and energy and has also protected us to keep outsiders from getting into personal information. The internet has brought about many different ideas and ways of doing things and interestingly enough has saved us time and energy by providing more cost effective ways of communicating through a computer. The first computer was the size a big basement of office and today they are as small as a cell phone that you use to make calls with.

The technology we use today advances our future inventions to ultimately make our lives better in the process after all the technology that was invented in the past was also invented for the exact same reason.
