A silence so loud that time itself stops to listen
an ageless beauty that never ceases, nor decreases
it's there, just there
barely out of reach, teasing, taunting
so close it seems, yet miles and miles away
stretching far into the distance
perhaps even older than time itself
so bright they are
but which one shines brightest, is up to you
too many to count, always more
these are the guardian angels of our planet
the light in the dark
to guide us, to give us peace of mind
to let us know we are safe, that we are not alone
that wherever we are, so are they
they follow us, they watch us, they protect us
they are the guardian angels
they are the light in the dark
they are the stars

My dreams do abide
In those sparkling
Shiny Lights
Way up
