The darkness of the night is nothing new, the same quiet forest every night, but still there was something powerful about it. Trevor has spent the last six months of his life working for the forest preserve, and actually wanted the night shift. Not like there is much to his job even for the day workers, there is just something about the night that soothes Trevor's soul. He sits now in front of his patrol Jeep like he often does, and stares into the wilderness blankly. His thoughts drift off as he lets the cold night air caress his body. However his thoughts come back to reality as he hears a noise of something in the brush near the road. It must be a night animal of some kind he thinks as he gets to his feet. He throws the car in reverse and backs up to turn around. The headlights land on the bush and with the strong light Trevor sees the creature. Whatever it is must have been on the ground, but it was definitely standing up now. He can't believe his eyes as he sees something with about the shape of a bear standing on its hind legs. Except there is no fur, just pink skin. The head is not that of a bear at all, but almost human. The only thing not making it a human head is the mouth, it is much bigger and with the creature screaming the all too sharp teeth make the creature even more terrifying. Trevor put the Jeep in drive but doesn't do it fast enough as the creature charges out of the bush and smashes against the front of the Jeep. The beast begins screaming and slamming its powerful fists on the hood. Now its staring at Trevor, trying to climb on the
