Romance in the rain...oh, such a beautiful time to hold up somewhere with the one you love. My imagination carries me to a beautiful log cabin buried deep within the woods. There are a couple of logs burning on the fire, and two people are side by side on a couch sipping on a cup of hot cocoa or coffee. Time is of no concern to these two people who contently snuggle under a roof that is catching the raindrops and causing a peaceful patter to envelop their ears.

Who does not love a rainy day? It does not have to be gloomy; it can be the perfect opportunity to test your romantic inclinations. Start the day off by bringing your love breakfast in bed. Make it special. Prepare the finest breakfast you can imagine, and make sure it is his or her favorite morning meal. Deliver your special treat to the one you love, and put a note on the tray. Ask your loved one if they want to meet you in the shower or bath after they finish the delectable meal you have prepared for them.

Bring the candles and the bubble bath into the bathroom for a clean round of romance. Fill your tub or sauna with warm bubbly water, and make sure you have some light background music that touches your ear and fills your soul with warmth. Prepare to romance your loved one with words of beauty and caresses of silk. This is something that can be done on any day, but when you are stuck in the house, what better way to spend your morning.

Personally, I think it is romantic to take a walk with the one you love out in the rain. You can laugh and cuddle under the umbrella as you stroll through the park or down to the corner restaurant. Remember when the two of you were kids, and craved the feeling of the raindrops on your faces as you stood under a dripping sky. It is romantic to share a moment like this with the love of your life.

Rainy days are romantic anyway. When you use your imagination, you can dream up so many things that will melt your lover's heart. Spend your time on a rainy day just being with each other, playing games, reading, or simply staying in the bed all day long. Think about what your partner likes, and then dress it up in a way that will put a smile on his or her face. The secret to romance on any day is to delight your partner in a way that makes him or her feel completely special. Rainy days give you the perfect opportunity to do just that.
