The encroachment of the public on personal privacy:
The right to privacy is an extreme, arid, and desolate, concept for the mere fact that it barely exists. All Americans are reaching up dangling from a silken web of a spider to have what still remains of our right to privacy. Trust me! It is about to snap. I do not think that people realize more often than not, we are on camera. We have gotten so used to it that now we don't even think about it.
This little box I'm writing to you on, is the biggest culprit of encroachment of those barely existent rights. Your privacy has a price to the tune of between $30-$60 dollars that it can be bought and paid for at the hands of whoever. Now doesn't that make you feel like a cheap slut! Yes anyone can run a background check on you. Do not fool yourself into thinking they need your permission either.
All information is public knowledge and can be found by anyone in public records. Marriages, divorces, properties, assets, annual income, births, deaths, criminal information and something as simple as unsubstantiated reports. Yeah no need to worry or feel invaded, it's all there! now this is going to be considered here-say right here but, I was told a scary story a long while back...
This was before the computer had even been invented with that Starbucks meeting they had. Ok I'm getting off track. That is another write. Anyway, it was said that in Brussels there is a machine that takes up floor to ceiling and is enormous and extremely well guarded I gathered from what was said to me. It records and stores all information about you and compiles and updates data over your lifetime. My understanding of it is it knows more about you than you do! Cool, I might have to give them a call to find out my next address so I can cut down on the house hunting time. Of course that last sentence was "PURE CONDESCENSION!"
We have no more rights than tagged animals. So whatever you do...Do you and just put it out there like it is. Do not sugarcoat anything for effect. Just let it be the minced meat that it is. It is already out there anyway. *shrugs*
Have to write something on the pursuit of happiness. Let me think about this for awhile. Later date I guess. I'm sure it's coming though.
