Pointless appreciation
Loveless hellos
Where am I
What have you become
Certaintly not the man
I fell in love with
There's someone else
I can tell by your eyes
They gave away your lies
Im at work
I'm sure you are
I was with the boys
But I saw your car
At her complex
And I saw her face
And her pretty red dress.
With sobs and a state of denial
I drive home in a daze
Emotionless
It's just a phase
You return to me
Late again
Where were you this time my friend?
Frolicking in her garden
Penetrating her bed
All these vile thoughts rave in my head
I leap with a scream
Accusations
Applications
Denied, denied, denied
You're loyal as a dog
I leave
I can't take this anymore
I walk out the door
You seem regretful
You haven't felt anything yet

You are only hurting yourself.
It was greed - But for what?
For flesh, for comfort, for acknowledgment?
We all fall into those
Insanity, pure and simple.
Boredom, yes.
Did I need so badly to feel loved?
Why did I not just read a book,
or go to sleep
Who do you fool when you cheat
Nobody but yourself
With ruses and tricks to beat
The honest for top shelf
What is the price
