Blue cover
Spiral bound
Seventy pages of medium paper
It won't yellow, they assured me
Pages fill up quickly
Drawings the depict
Lies, deceit, love, lust
My sanity in these papers
It has been lost
Pinned on the wall
Always in my hands
This notebook means more to me
Than any man

My life is but a notebook, written in my soul
Looking deep inside, to make myself whole
The feelings buried deep
by Scott Scherr
What They Hold Inside
Wandering
Hear ts and minds
Attempting to capture
The elusive moments
The words all
Held inside
Every page
In a notebook I keep inside
very safe and secure with heart strings tied
hidden deep within my soul
I write
Word upon word, sentence upon sentence
Some a little absurd and others about repentance
Some many of them just sitting there
