Halloween
Ghoulies and ghosties, beasties galore,
What comes a knocking
On my front door?
It's creepies and frightening
I shake in my boots,
Then open it slowly
As they let out the hoots.
Trick or treat is the catch phrase
As I swallow my heart
Then see all the kiddies
Jump back, with a start.
Oops did I leave traces of my last meal
On the make up that gives them such a chill?
I deal out the treats
And go back to my rest
That's what they get
From this vampire nest.
