Shoe Repair is a Lost Ability
A guy and gal had been lonely talking
Both minds quickly combined together
For mating proof, they planned a trekking
Sensing their new love was beckoning
However, crystal balls provided nothing
About healthy peaks with windy weather
When each one desired to feel near
A summit of further, higher destination
When they paced in much misdirection
While voyaging against any hesitation
Each face started fading and tearing
Despite attempts of their innate caring
Slowed strolls created soles with fear
Mostly after passing elevated knolls

She still refused to say, "I'm harmed, bye"
"We'll be fine," she thoughtlessly replied
Then, he forgot each old, depressed sigh
Shoe repairmen are surely more than dead
After broken years dreadfully passed
As distances appeared mostly vast
This moon-like sojourn grew too tough
Our beaten journey turned too rough
He believed shoes were obsolete
And her deceit was nearly complete
When he finally felt he hurt enough
