Poetry: A kiss

by March Claire

Created on: October 07, 2009

There's a pair of
Long arms
Wrapped around my waist
The wind blows
Not too strong
His eyes are
As deep as the ocean
Searing into my heart.

Here it comes
We both lean in
Heads tilted
Eyes begin to close
His lips make the perfect shape
I couldn't escape
Even if I wanted to

I feel his warmth on my lips
The moment I've been waiting for.
Too good to be true
Baby I love you
