Jesus: A Servant's Heart
My heart speaks
I must be less
He must be more
Saturating my being
The Holy Spirit gives
To all who ask
The Holy Spirit knows our needs,
Needs given unto maturity
Stripping off the stone
Replaced with caring flesh
Giving all,
Receiving little
Maturity abounds
As we pass through
Experience teaches
The disciple reflects
On learning observed
Providing understanding
For future days
Looking out
Battling on
Retreating not
From others needs
In the end
A servant's heart
Pure and clean

Came Christ;
