I choose wisdom over courage, If one has the wisdom to make changes in the world courage will follow. I always say " with age comes the beauty of wisdom, and if I could only go back in time what a difference I could have made in the world".

With wisdom also comes responsibility. We all have to make choices in life on a daily basis, without the wisdom to choose wisely most would follow a dangerous path and some do. Those with courage are often without a good sense of what is best for them. Although, someone with wisdom and courage can lead the world. It takes a certain amount of both to become successful in life. Whether it is raising a family or starting a business.

Some could be wise about one thing and not so wise about another, it depends on many factors of the individual person. Personality, upbringing, genetics. Not to say someone with courage can't become wise, on the contrary the courageous can learn many things in life, but unfortunately it is usually learned the hard way. Too much courage can cause one to take unnecessary chances a bit of recklessness.

There are different levels of wisdom and courage. Where would we be today without the wisdom of Einstein, Ben Franklin, or Thomas edison etc... or the courage of our soldiers, police men and women and the firefighters that show great courage every day. It is somewhat of a tough debate, since both courage and wisdom often go hand in hand. If the wise men of the world didn't have the courage to act on there wisdom then progress would never happen. Let's not forget the wisdom of Bill Gates and Donald Trump, look where they are today. They have done what most of us only dream about doing. They gained the wisdom and knowledge to make a difference and had the courage to make it all happen.

If you have wisdom you can grow enough food to feed the world, if you only have courage you may only feed your ego. But without courage and bravery we would not have the freedom to hold this debate. So, let mankind have the wisdom to overcome the trials of life and the courage to endure the obstacles that lie ahead. It takes wisdom and ignorance to create disaster and the courageous to protect us from it.
