The 1969 Z/28 Camaro A True Muscle Car

I owned a 1969 Z/28 camaro, it was my first muscle car,I never got to finish building it before it got vandalized and I had to sell it, because at that time there were not a lot of parts available, we didn't have all of the specialty restoration parts stores like now.

I had so much fun with that car, the very first thing I did is I went to Las Vegas, not realizing that it didn't really offer any fun for a kid of sixteen, with no money to spend, but I still got to show my car off, and I had so much fun that I'd never forget it.

I raced that car against all of my friends, and only lost once, or twice, I had my first date in that car, it was the greatest car ever for me, not only was the body style one of the greatest ever built, but the 2010 camaro borrowed some it's traits, from the body style, and from the interior.

Yes it's true that the 1969 camaro lives on in the latest models, and that in itself says a lot about the 1969 camaro, it says that even over 40 years later people still love the styling of the 1969 camaro, it was truly a legend in it's own time.

Yes that 1969 camaro had it all, it was a true American muscle car, a true street hero, and a car that could never be re-created again, the 1969 camaro was a rare moment of clarity for Chevrolet, the kind likely never to be seen again.

The 1969 camaro was a timeless car, just like seeing in to the future for Chevrolet, hopefully the 2010 camaro will carry the tradition on for a long time, the 1969 camaro paved the way for of muscle cars to come after it, it did a lot for the muscle car world.

Not only did it do a lot for the muscle car world, it did a lot for Chevrolet with a lot of sales, and many wins at the SCCA race track, it built a name, and a reputation that lives on today, the 1969 Z/28 camaro built a reputation Chevrolet of building UN-beatable cars.

The 1969 Z/28 struck fear in most people that raced it, and for every race win it built more of a reputation for Chevrolet, more of that UN-beatable spirit, more of the fear from other car manufactures, more of a reputation on the street for being the best.
