How to combine travel and earning money can not only be a challenge, it can be a lot of fun and a highly successful venture. Travel is something which millions of people undertake every day in life - both for business and for pleasure - and it is very often a procedure which they will wish to research in advance. The way in which they are most likely to undertake this activity in modern times is online, via the Internet.

As one travels, for whatever reason or to whatever destination, one knows a lot of new experiences and sees a lot of new and often wonderful things. These new experiences can relate to anything from visiting a particular airport for the first time, flying with a new airline, visiting a new and exciting destination and staying in a particular hotel. There are so many novel experiences which one has while travelling that the possibilities to make money from them are all but endless.

Whenever one is going on a trip - particularly perhaps a pleasure trip - it is likely that one will desire to know something about one's destination beforehand. This could be about the hotel in which one is staying and such as the food it serves, it could be about what there is to do in the evenings in a particular city or resort, or it could be about the most popular and interesting sights to see while staying in the locale. It is likely that one will search Google or a similar search engine for this information in order to find the most up to date and detailed script.

As one travels and gains travel experience, therefore, it is entirely possible to provide a service in this way to one's future fellow travellers and earn money from the proceeds. As one visits new places or has new travel experiences, notes should be taken and also photographs where possible. These notes and photographs can at a later time be very successfully crafted in to Internet information portals for reference by others around the world, seeking information of this nature.

Travel blogs are an excellent way to impart this information to others and to earn money from the process. The blog can be populated with details of places visited, sights seen and experiences had. It can equally be monetised by including Google Adsense on it and by selling affiliate products such as guide books upon destinations or foreign language phrase books via Amazon. If a blog is maintained in this way on a regular basis, it can very quickly build up a great deal of followers and potentially earn significant revenue for the blogger.

An even more specific way to combine travel and earning money is to build a Web 2.0 site on each experience or locale on such as Squidoo or Hub Pages. As the number of sites one has of this nature grows and each is monetised in a similar way as a blog, the earning potential for the writer will grow geometrically.

Combining travel and earning money is therefore realistic, fairly straightforward and potentially extremely lucrative in the medium to longer term.
