If I could fly
I'd visit where no mortal can
I'd soar and soar so high
To where someone has ran.
We'd sit on a cloud and have one more chat
About everything we possibly could
If only he'd come again in a dream
Oh.....if only he would!
A spur of the moment act
When feeling deep pain
What is it that causes the fact
To take one's own life in vain.
It will be easy he thought and reckoned
To go to sleep forever
If only he'd thought just for a second
To return he could never.
Some say a selfish act it is
Bravery, Cowardice, it is none of these
His pain we'll never know that early morning under the trees.
He went to meet his maker
Where peace and joy are on the line
But why didn't he realise
Forever is a very long time.

Yes, I have cried
Yes, my mouth is dry
But I won't let this beat me
Because I am strong you see
You broken my heart,
Even
