an older man reaches up to grasp at a memory,
a memory forever returning to contribute it's piece toward a whole.
no-one can tell you these things, you must discover them on your own
you are not abandoned, you are not neglected
but you must discover this on your own,
even if they had the words to describe this path
a youthful pride would have blocked your path,
even if they were given the time to shield you from the consequences of youthful ignorance,
a youthful pride would have blocked your path,
" No-one else can live this life but you, no-one else can make the decisions that are given to you."

Led to dine with the oppressed at the table of
What would have been if I had died?
I was lying in that bed, in fear...
Fear for what I've missed out on,
