We identify emotions by being in tune with our feelings. That may take some practise in our early life but most of us have an internal guide that enables us to describe what a certain emotion feels like. These emotions may be mixed or they may be on the rocks and straight-up. Like alcohol they come in different strengths and they also can do damage if you do not know how to handle them. You make a statement that you love someone, and by doing so you are validating and acknowledging the identification of your feeling of love. The strength of your love can be fortified or it can be weakened and painfully fade away.
When we meet our soulmate, the strength of the emotion felt is cosmic. Nothing in our earthly lives has prepared us for this. The feeling is beyond the realm of normal emotional experience. Unfortunately, the other person may not be ready for this. The veil that shrouds their heart, laid by intellect, or fear, can not be lifted. So you grieve and mourn and move on with grace, knowing destiny can be fragile. When timing is cooperative, nothing can be as powerful as the instant feeling of oneness, the intrinsic feeling of knowing the other defies explanation and the wonderment of meeting your soulmate is revealed. Some people do not find their soulmates, others lose them far too early and some know where they may be, but the timing is just not right. You can meet them at anytime, anywhere but usually only once in a lifetime.
You are walking through the mall and across the way there is someone that stands out from the crowd. Time seems to shift, other people move in slow motion. The look, the eye contact, it may be fleeting but the connection was there, more then just being attracted you are entranced, more than being giddy you are intoxicated. You wonder who they are, you feel childish at the emotions you experience towards a stranger, you also feel the stirrings of something within you awaken. You are walking towards each other, they introduce themselves, you smile, a haunting eternal passion ignites. Your arms have held them before across the oceans of time and space and they have caressed your heart, your soul, in a deeply spiritual way. The parting was ancient, so long, long ago, and now you have come together again as soulmates.
