I have a pet peeve. I really hate being asked how someone can "easily" make money online. Working in general is not designed to be easy and fun. Of course, some lucky individuals land their dream jobs, but for the majority of the population work is done because it must be. Why is it so unfeasible, then, to apply the same principals to earning online? There is no magic overnight fix, no miracle virtual money tree. You CAN earn money online. But whether a hobbyist or someone looking to earn their full time income from online means, you're going to have to put some work in.
There are a number of possible ways to earn online. Websites like this one, Helium.com, allow you to earn money for the content you upload. The likes of ciao.com allow you to review pretty much anything and get paid for it. Ciao.com is also one of many websites that allow you to take surveys and get paid.
One of my preferred methods of earning just a few pennies here and there is slicethepie.com, which actually is fun! You get paid for reviewing the tracks of unsigned musicians. Listening to music can be fun - but you don't just have to listen. You then have to review the track too and you may only earn a couple of pennies for your short four or five line review. But it sure adds up, right?
For those who seek to make more sizeable amounts of money online, I highly recommend affilliate marketing or an ad programme such as Google AdSense. This involves setting up your own blog or website and allowing Google to display advertisements on a set space on that site. You can also try Amazon Associates as well, which, when you start out, will pay you 5% commission for every purchase that comes from one of your links! Clickbank.com have plenty of affilliate options of this nature too, so if you content permits it, then this could be a great way to monetise a blog or website. You don't necessarily have to be a pro website builder either. In fact, if you don't want to pay hosting, use a free www.blogger.com account. Blogger allows ads to be displayed there and running the blog this way will cost you nothing. Personally, I have found the added flexibility of hosting my blogs on their own domain to be beneficial, but different methods work for different people.
What about selling unwanted stuff? Ebay, of course, is a great way to clear out your unwanted items. And the great thing about Ebay is that almost anything can be listed! I do recommend that you factor in, however, when pricing, the fact that eBay
