A clean home is a happy home - so don't wait 3 years to unpack those bags and start making your home happy. It may be overwhelming, but taking action by following a few simple steps to get you started is all you need to get your new apartment cleaned!

So how do you do that? As an athlete always says, one game at a time, that's the approach you have to take. One room at a time, or in this case, one thing at a time. But which room and what do you do first?

Here are a few simple tips to get you into cleaning mode!

1. Clean the first room you see when you walk into apartment!

2. Clean in order to prep for paint touch ups and remodeling.

3. Clean the rooms you absolutely need (Kitchen and Bathroom).

Take a step back and get focused. All you have to do is begin and everything should fall into place. These tips will get you started on a plan of action.

2. Clean in order to prep for paint touch ups and remodeling.

Before all your furniture is moved in or unpacked, clean the floors, the walls, and if you need to, this is the perfect time to prep your rooms for a paint job. By keeping your valuables boxed, it keeps them protected. By keeping your furniture out until you are done cleaning or painting, puts the task of covering them out of the equation. You will also have more space to move around the room which means a more efficient way to paint the room. Consider this for all your rooms. Clean the walls and prep each room for your paint job.

3. Clean the rooms you absolutely need (Kitchen and Bathroom).

The kitchen is another 'high
