For working parents there is nothing easier than ordering a pizza on your way home from work. You pick it up pipping hot..or better, have it delivered. Hot, ready and you just serve it to your hungry family.

Yum! But what if you want to have the pleasure of making it at home. Can pizza be quick and easy. Yes, it can!

Below is my recipe for quick and easy pizza. Use whatever brands you wish and whatever you have on hand. Let your kids help..that is even better. Get your kids involved to save you time and to get them together in the evening. Talk to them about their day and have some family time. Here is my version of a quick and easy pizza. Gather all the ingredients and enjoy a simple meal tonight.

Biscuit Pizza

Ingredients:

1 or more tubes of refrigerated biscuit dough - any brand you use is fine. I have found that they all work just as well and tastes good ( 1 tube per person or small pizza- 2 - 3 tubes will make a large pizza.)

pizza or spaghetti sauce

cheese

toppings of your choice

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

1. Grease the types of pans you are going to use. Make 1 large pizza or let your kids make their own. They love to do this and with supervision it is a lot of fun.

2. Take the dough out of the tubes and knead in your hands a few minutes to warm it and blend it together. Make sure the biscuits are one big ball so that the dough doesn't separate when you spread it in the pan(s). Put dough in the center of the pan and gently , using your fingers, spread it to the outside of the pans. If it doesn't go to the edges completely and that is ok. Just make a ridge and go to the next step.

3. Spead the sauce on the pizza. Leave and inch around the edge. You can use a spoon or your kids can use their hands.

4. Put what toppings on it that you have on hand. Start with the cheese you are using. Then use your favorite fruits, veggies or meats.

5. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly brown. It could be less. Watch it close as it will burn quickly.

Eat and enjoy.
