Freedom Will Stand
Entombed in steel, consumed by fire,
Three thousand lost their lives.
These are times that try our souls,
But fear will never take control.
With hate-filled hearts and twisted minds
They hoped they could terrorize,
The planes crashed down and the towers fell,
But they failed,
Freedom still stands.
Complacency made us weak
Then mortal cries roused our sleep.
Our loved ones' blood soaked the earth,
The awful stain woke the beast.
The grand machine of liberty
Will rise and fight the enemy.
We'll hunt them down, their tyranny
Will end,
Freedom will stand.
Don't forget,
Don't forget that freedom will stand.
