Is it conceivable?
That we are all evil.
That even in our silence,
we desire destruction.
The destruction of humanity.
Our silence is evil.
To do nothing when in the face of conflict.
I bite my tongue, till it bleeds.
I was just doing my job, as I watched in silence.
I let them all die. I stayed silent.
Redemption was within my reach.
Redemption was only one word.
I stayed silent. Now I will burn.

Poetry: Silence
by Ted Onulak
As silent as flowers in a vase
Taking quiet sips of water
Wordlessly counting their last remaining days
Silent as the sunbeams
by Memee
Millions of snow flakes gently falling to the ground
blanketing the earth with out making a sound.
Star gazing from a hilltop
Silence echos all around me:
nothing.
Reminding me of my thoughts,
and taking me further
into its welcoming depth.
by Excelsorsior AKA Xelsorsior
Silence is Silent
Is silence found in heart that beats no more
Or is it placed in a dream without an encore
Is silence revealed
Silence
The flame dances on the wick,
Dances to some silent music.
No pounding beat or tune,
No rhythm or rhyme,
Just...silenc e.
