Do you have a bearskin rug in your den, or is your idea of home one that welcomes all visitors warmly. Personal style is the way you share your vision of yourself with the people who see you. It is a way to express your uniqueness. It makes a bland room into an inviting atmosphere, and an outfit one that speaks boldly of your personality.

Think about what type of image you want to portray when you go to your office or out for the evening. Do you want a professional look, one that beams with the look of confidence? Maybe you want to hide in the corner so no one notices you. Your personal style is going to say a lot about who you are, so when you shop for clothes, think about the effects your outfit will have on the people you encounter. Do some research. Look at the outfits other people are wearing. Try on clothes until you find the perfect outfit. When you use your personal style as a measure to portray the hidden beauty of your character, you will find that the confidence you have in yourself will soar.

Clothing is only one way to show off your personality. Your living quarters, whether it is a 2000 square foot home or an apartment, can tell a lot about the type of person you are. Decorating your home is so much fun! You can do anything you want with your own personal space. Are you flamboyant or down to earth? Do you like the casual look or do want to portray a modernistic appearance to your guests?

Your rooms can vary in their colors. If you like a peaceful living room, try a soft blue or lilac paint for the walls. If you like roses, beautiful flowers can be placed throughout your home. Maybe you like modern art and black and white paintings on the wall. The secret to finding your own personal style lies within you. By decorating your home and dressing to show off your personal style, you can tell everyone who you are without uttering a word. Spend some time thinking about what makes you tick. When you shop for clothes or buy something for your home, pick something out that is totally you. Let your personality shine!
