David Letterman had no choice but to admit to having sexual relationships with some women on his staff! The truth would have come out sooner or later! Tabloids would have had a field day with that revelation! He would have been bombarded with criticism left and right!

If he had paid the extortionist two million dollars there was no guarantee that his sexual escapades would not have surfaced!

Supposedly, the sexual episodes were during his single years.

Letterman took the proper action by notifying the police. Now an award-winning CBS 48 Hours news producer finds himself in hot water! If convicted he could do fifteen years in jail!

The extortionist's attorney says there is more to the story than meets the eye! This will surely get nasty! It turns out that the extortionist had had a relationship with one of Letterman's employees! Watch for any more connections!

Mr. Letterman will have to face the music. There are actions and there are consequences. CBS will decide if it wants to disciplines him. He could lose his job.

It is bad enough that David Letterman already had a black eye from a bad joke about Sarah Palin and one of her daughters...AND baseball's Alex Rodriguez! I, as a fan, did not like Letterman going down that low road that he took.

Letterman takes a punch to his groin and I and other fans grimace in pain!

The irony is that David Letterman cracks jokes about politicians and their sexual naughtiness!

How different is Dave's situation? It is different in the sense that he is not a politico and he was not married. It is similar in that he got caught and revealed as having questionable sexual dealings with some female employees. That just does not look good. Sure, he commited no crime. It is still a black eye and a kick to the lower extremities!

Hypocrisy can be a clown! David Letterman must take his medicine and carry on. If he can and if he is allowed to do so!

His fans will either be disappointed and stay with him or drop him like a hot potato.

I, for one will stay. I just hope he behaves!

It is easy to criticize and condemn. Look at the folks that judged President Clinton for his sexual hijinks with Monica Lewinsky! A lot of the politicos that were eager to be his judge, jury , and executioners had affairs with interns or women!

Careful with tossing rocks at glass houses!
