the padding censors the turbulent vocals
that sputter and spill from caged cracked lips.
dimensions are interchangeable
sometimes fashioned perfectly.
round ball fits into round hole,
connect the dots .. one, two , three, and so on.
but warping to the other side of the coin
slamming the cross into the triangle,
fracturing and maiming the rigid symmetrical figure.
the dots become symbols of stars flung into
the Andromeda.
light a cigarette in the darkness
and rock against the wall..
plastic covered bumper pads
ease the torture that comes with the fading daylight.
rock and smoke,
rock and smoke,
and pray for Lucidity.

Partaken into my mouth
Chewed
Slaking thirst,
I laid in moonlight
The whole night long
Stretched my hands toward it grasping
beams like individual strands
