Reasons why people get fired

Losing your job is tough. It's even harder when you don't know why. There are many reasons why people lose their jobs, regardless if they expected it or not. The most common reasons why people get fired are listed below.

1) They did not follow the rules. Let's say you work in a daycare center. Your responsibility is to make lunch for the kids and clean the kitchen before you leave. So, you make lunch and you go home for the day. Did you do your job? No, your job was not finished until the kitchen was clean, and if you do this once, maybe a warning, do it every day, and you are bound to get fired. Its as simple as that, break the rules, get fired.

2) Stealing from the workplace. If you work in a grocery store and you steal groceries, chances are you are going to get fired if you get caught. If you work in an office and you steal a laptop, same thing, fired. Your workplace employs you so that you can make money, not steal the things you use every day. How on earth do you expect to keep a job if you steal the inventory?.

3) Drinking or doing drugs while at work. If you show up to your job drunk or high, chances are you would get a warning for your first time, fired the second. But, if you get caught doing it at work, yeah, your gonna get fired, it's wrong, nobody wants to put up with that at the workplace.

4) Having a bad attitude. If you are working and you have a terrible attitude, very hard to get along with and nasty to the customers, on an ongoing basis, someone will complain, and you will get fired. No one should have to put up with your attitude because you hate your job or are just not a happy person.

5) Always showing up late for work. Being on time shows responsibility, and if you can't get to work on time, ever, then you need to find another job, and let someone who wants to work have yours. Fired.

6) Looking at porn at work. This is profane, and not to be viewed at work. If you want to look at it, do it in the privacy of your own home. Fired.

7) Not doing your job. When you are employed to do a job, and you are not doing your job, on an ongoing basis, you will be fired. Makes sense does it not?
