Pushing your religion on others

What I am about to say might come as quite a shock to many whose eyes peruse this article. I might even go so far as to claim that what I do say will be met with opposition and mockery. But it is something I must say if I am to be honest, brutally I will add. Honesty is guided by the truth and to speak it most often will convict the mind of the deceiver as well as the deceived. To know for sure which party you adhere to; being 1) truth or 2) deception, will be evidenced always and only in your response when hearing what is true and honest. 1a) Humble is he who hears the truth and listens... 2a) deceived is he who accuses truth of hearsay and injustice. So here goes...

YOU and I are PUSHERS! Every single word we utter; coupled with the emotional inflections, are based on our little subjective opinions. Opinions; I will add, that we believe to be true. We believe them true so much so; that we impose them with such passion at times, with the direct intent of making the ear it falls upon believe our subjective point of view! I like the way A. Bronson Alcott; a 19th century American teacher, writer and philosopher puts it:

"To be ignorant of one's ignorance is the malady of ignorance."

To be ignorant implies being unaware or uninformed, as it relates to knowledge or training. Hidden deep beneath the "pomp and circumstance" of the accomplishments of man kinds' revolutionary technological advancements in science, medicine, and the toys of his comfort and pleasure, he fails to see the very nature of the ills that befall him. Waving flags of magnificent pride, donning plaques of PhD's, he sits in seats demanding honor and respect. Surely; the accomplishments of modern man is indeed ample enough evidence, to justify his claim of intelligence! Howbeit then; that I dare to accuse and challenge what man calls "knowledge and training", when such splendiferous accomplishments abound? Reflect now on what you are thinking and feeling. Are you a #1; with thoughts familiar with 1a above, or are you a #2, with thoughts familiar with 2a? Hmmm...

Okay; so what exactly is religion? The fundamental definition of religion simply states: "something one believes in and follows devotedly". Is this "something" implying just God? I would say not. If it were to imply just God; it would not be so generalized, by using the word "something" but; it would specifically state God. When one says "I do not believe in God" or "I am an atheist or agnostic" isn't that the same as saying "I believe
