Jacksonville Museum of Science & History - Featuring the Alexander Brest Planetarium, The Jacksonville Museum of Science & History offers an opportunity to view the Galaxy or enjoy a Laser Light Show. The Exhibits of Manatees, Dolphins and Whales are extraordinary. The Jacksonville Museum of Science & History is open daily and closed on Holidays. Jacksonville Maritime Museum - Located on the South-Bank River Walk, The Jacksonville Maritime Museum shows a unique view of the Maritime History of Jacksonville with exhibits of detailed models and photographs. The gift shop carries Naval Caps, a number of educational materials, and a variety of other gifts.

The Ritz Theatre & La Villa Museum - With an amazing light and sound system, Jacksonville's Ritz Theatre has a 30 foot by 40 foot performance stage that hosts theatrical and musical shows like the Amateur Night at the Ritz in a 400 seat capacity room. Jacksonville's La Villa Museum features historic exhibitions, fine art, local and folk art as well. La Villa Museum also provides a number of interesting educational opportunities for Children.

Tree Hill Nature Center - The Tree Hill Nature Center in Jacksonville is a marvelous experience for a person of any age. Offering 53 acres of trails, The Tree Hill Nature Center also has a Butterfly Garden and a Hummingbird Garden, both are spectacular. This Jacksonville Nature Center features live Animal exhibits and programs showing Snakes, Alligators, Lizards, Frogs and other creatures. A trip to Jacksonville Florida is incomplete without a visit to the Jacksonville Zoo. With over 1,000 Animals located on 70 acres, The Jacksonville Zoo also offers a walking safari, botanical gardens, and much more. The Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League play their home games in the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, and The Jacksonville Suns of the Southern League play games at The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
