How to ease tensions in the home
When there are 4-5 people living in one house, things can get a little crazy from time to time. As a family, everyone will experience several ups and downs. Families can easily solve their problems as quick as they get into them by communicating, exercising positive thinking and listening allowing others to have the floor. There are a number of simple and fun ways to resolve each dilemma. Here are two activities that are proven to help you to eliminate most or even all issues and tensions in the home. These activities will also allow you to result in good habits for awesome behavior.
Many psychologists have studied traditional behaviors in family tensions and have come up with ways to augment family agreement in their relationships. Some of the most commonly recommended therapies to practice in your house to increase unity with your family are to develop excellent communication skills, being sincere and sociable.
The primary thing to do when a problem or matter occurs, immediately step in politely and calmly advise those involved in the debate and those that are in the family to join in an in home conference that would allow all who participates to speak their feelings and concerns freely. Basically gather enough chairs for everyone to sit forming a circle so everyone has clear view. Someone then volunteers to go first and explains what took place and how they were affected. Then the next person gets the same right until everyone has spoke. After all has been laid out in front of everybody someone must provide a solution-all can give their opinion on what they feel will resolve the matter. This allows the family to connect together in a constructive movement. This will teach the children and parents to consider both sides of the deliberation and it motivates learning how to possess understanding and acceptance.
Practice doing this training as many times needed to improve tensions in the home. Communication is the key to success and victory over stress and trauma in the home. The children will be driven to recommend this same practice with excitement which shows progress, they are getting everything out of the process.
Another activity that is more enjoyable for family rehabilitation is a special game involving everyone in the family. Assemblies of families were hired at the psychology lab of North Carolina State University to join in on a study for families who dealt with severe issues at home. These families took part in a study of relationships; this game is called Life Stories. All families have different types of problems, and they dealt with them here in fun ways. They were all asked to discuss a few of their problems that concerned them. The idea was to find out about families that were willing to share with the school so they could be helped. The problems talked about were compared to the conflicts that happen during the game.
How to play in your very own home, Life Stories is a classic roll-the-dice and draw cards game. Just like a lot of games we have all played, you simply move the pieces on the board around until you reach the finish line. The cards read questions that cause the players to describe their issues, emotions, and principles. This game can change the way problems are solved in the home. The game also assists the family with conflicts that may come up in the future.
It is extremely important to teach the children the basic rules about losing and winning in a game and apply it to their life. So when they experience a real life situation they will be prepared to decide wisely.
I feel that games diminish stress and pain in our lives, improving numerous relationships among family members and friends.
