If love is so accepting,
Then why don't I feel your warm welcome.

If love is so strong,
Then why don't I feel belonged?

If love is so gentle,
Then why do you scream.

If love raises you up,
Then why do I lay low.

If love is the truth,
Then why do I lie.

If love changes with time,
Then where do I start?

If love is so right,
Then why do I hesitate.

If love is about sacrifice,
Then what more should I offer?

If love is caring,
Then why do I feel controlled.

If love is about sharing,
Then why are you so selfish.

If love is about trust,
Then why do you talk about honesty?

If love is perfect,
Then why do I complain?

If love keeps blossoming,
Then why do I feel the thorns.

If love is forgiving,
Then why don't you apologize?

If love calms you down,
Then why am I scared?

If love leads the way,
Then why am I lost.

If love comes naturally,
Then why am I faking it.

If love heals,
Then why am I wounded?

If love can tell,
Then I think you're deaf.

If love spills secrets,
Still I guess, you will never know.

If love is so hurting,
Then maybe it's best to just let go.
