DREAMER
I hold you while you sleep
I hear every silent scream
I watch you fight your fears
Every night when you dream
I feel it when you hurt
I know when you cry
Even though I can't explain
I know your reasons why
I can see how much you hurt
I hear every silent call
I know I haven't always
Caught you when you fall
But I hold you while you sleep
I hear every silent scream
I watch you battle monsters
Every night when you dream
And when your battle's done
I gently kiss your face
If only in the darkness
I am your saving grace
I hold you close
Wipe away the tears
Only in the dark of night
I silence all your fears.

My eyes pop wide open in the middle of the night
To close them is a major fight
I try to lay still with all my might
But
