Any sex on television is too much sex on television. How inventive the creators of modern shows must be that they have to lure us in with the oldest trick in the book. Just imagine for a minute the world is Samson and television is Delilah. The allure of women has been a constant in time for as far back as history goes.
How many of you out there have watched a show because you know you'll see a scene or two that will cause a stirring of the loins? Be honest. Have you ever noticed that physically fit people make it on the reality shows more often than the average person? This is because no one wants to see physically moderate people going at it. It grosses them out. Why does this world follow people like the girls next door? Those women have chosen a life of sexual sin and we are condoning it.
Why is it that in just about every script there is some sort of romance? Are we that vile that we need to watch other people in what is supposed to be intimate situations between a husband and wife just to find a show interesting? The Bible speaks against this behavior. I am finding it harder and harder to watch television with a clear conscience.
There is filth in the news. There is filth in our shows and there is filth in our cartoons. Why is there a need for sexual innuendos in cartoons? You know as well as I do kids are going to see these cartoons eventually, so why are we not filtering out the content. For that matter why are we putting up with the jokes. The Bible speaks against fowl words and humor, so why do we support it. This is a real problem that causes real people to stumble on a daily basis.
Read the ten commandments, this type of programming is aimed at one thing, lust. It is teaching people a lie, that we see sex on television all the time it must not be all that bad. The world and the influences in it do not want a red flag to pop up when you see a breast on prime time television. Just because it's from the side doesn't mean it's any less of a breast. Television is telling us it's alright to take a women for a test drive and if you don't like her any more trade her in for a different model, and it's teaching women the same. Sex on television is tearing down the moral fiber of our society that our lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for. You may not be able to stop it but you don't have to watch it.
