More and more men are choosing to wear jewelry for a variety of reasons. Some men wear wedding rings to symbolize their commitment. Other guys wear fashionable rings to add a little zazz to their outfiit Some guys wear tasteful jewelry and other guys wear way too much.
Even thousands of years ago, men used to wear rings for a variety of reasons. Wedding bands were common, and some other types of rings served a purpose, such as for protection during a battle. Kings and other royalty had rings that identified them as such.
Some younger men will wear a class ring from their high school or college. Others exchange promise rings with a girlfriend.
Mens rings come in a variety of styles. There are thick chunky square ones, rounded ones, ones with flush edges or square edges, smooth or textured finish. Some have gemstones in them and some don't. They can also feature a variety of symbols, from masonic images to Celtic knots, to custom designs and engravings.
Mens rings are made from a variety of materials, but one of the best is Tungsten. Tungsten is very hard and can only be scratched by diamond. However, because of this hardness, the rings cannot be resized, but for this reason, many vendors offer discounted new rings if you ever need a different size. They come in a variety of colors, from dark grey to black, silver to gold, multi-colored, and many custom colors. Titanium is also popular, but it is not as hard or as durable as Tungsten.
In addition to rings, many men may wear earrings or other piercings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces. When choosing jewelery it's obviously important to keep in mind the setting in which you will be wearing it. In other words, what may be appropriate for a rock concert is probably not appropriate for a job interview.
And it's generally a good idea to make sure that your jewelry matches to an extent. For example, a silver watch and a silver ring. It might look a bit odd to be wearing a black strapped watch with diamonds on it along with a gold ring. Sure, they both may be nice, but they don't really go together that well. It would be like wearing brown shoes with black pants; you could do it, but it wouldn't look right.
And finally, remember that in 99% of cases, less is more.
