It's never straightforward letting go of someone you love. It can be one of the most strenuous things you have to do in your life. Maybe your partner is putting a lot of pressure your relationship and you're finding it difficult to get out of it. Or perhaps, you think your significant other wants the relationship to end but is stringing you along for some unidentified motive.
Here's how to identify when your relationship is over:
*Lack of trust.
One of the most common problems that occur in a relationship is a lack of trust from both parties. A relationship cannot continue to exist if both parties don't trust one another, so if you have reason to believe your partner is cheating on you, or they think you are cheating on them then the relationship is likely to not last for much longer. Visualize your whole life with this person who is constantly wondering: where you have been, who you've been with and if you are cheating on them or the reverse. It's going to be a major problem in the relationship if this occurs all the time, and after so long you or your partner will get bored of the accusations and want out!
*They constantly remind you they need space.
We all need some personal space from time to time, so it may seem completely normal for your partner to ask for 'more space' however, if your partner seems to say I need more space daily, then this could be a sign they don't want a relationship or might be making space for another person
*Communication breakdown!
If there is a complete breakdown in communication between you and your partner; you rarely talk to one another and if you do you're either bickering or making 'small talk' then there's a chance the relationship is over, unfortunately after a few months into a relationship after the 'honeymoon period' some couples tend to lose the 'sparks' in the relationship and get bored of one another, questioning why you are both together definitely is a sign your relationship is dead.
*Bad sex life
Not all couples have sex, especially before marriage so it's obviously in that case to be normal to not have a sexual relationship with your partner, however if you used to have sex frequently with your partner and now your sex life is almost nonexistent then this could be a sign your relationship is pretty much over.
If you no longer have those intimate moments; kissing and cuddling, you instead hardly spend any time together and act like you are not in a relationship then maybe it's time you moved on because visualise how you are now with one another for a lifetime... it's definitely not a healthy relationship!
*Bad excuses
Your partner comes home late frequently, and their excuses don't seem to add up.
*Sweetness has disappeared!
They used to text you at work saying they missed you, but then after a month or so they don't bother doing 'sweet' stuff and start acting cold and as though they are less fond of you. You feel like your partner is not the same person they used to be at the beginning of the relationship.
*Abusive behaviour.
Your significant other has become abusive towards you. I don't just mean physical abuse although that is an important sign too, if he starts to bully you; call you all the names under the sun.
These signs show your relationship needs a lot of work, and if that doesn't work it would be a good idea to move on instead of staying in such an unhealthy relationship that makes you miserable...
