Humor & Laughter

Would a humorous approach to life make a difference?

Would humor make a difference? Asking this question is like asking someone if death is certain. Humor is a gift that we as humans offer to each other everyday as a means of communicating positively with each other. We say something that is funny and then we laugh about it and when done so we truly shadow all that has or will inflict pain and suffering amongst one another. It is our own means of escaping despair even if it IS just for a few minutes. Today we idolize comedians within the entertainment industry that give us laughs and chuckles as a means of not only communicating to us but in a sense of love and appreciation for the inhabitants of this planet. However humor is often misinterpreted and misjudged to an extent that most humor in todays world is deemed inapporopriate to some people that refuse to accept the nature of what it is in the first place. In light of this, some people take this understanding and pass it onto others into consideration in which it can potentially cause pain and suffering on its own if humor is portrayed and projected negatively regardless of its unintentional value.

Nevertheless humor has the power to bring and bind people together and turn your worst enemy into the best friend you can possibly have. It has the power to end wars and destroy hate even if it is just for a few minutes....
