(Dreaming of Me)
I'm Floating, and all the pretty people stare,
In their tuxedos and gowns,
I must look like a clown,
I'm ragged, tired, damaged,
torn,
I'm Beautiful,
I'm shaken, beat down and strung out,
I'm flawless,
I'm floating on clouds, I fly so high,
I make a mistake and open my eyes,
I'm disastrous, Magnificent,
hated, loved, adorned and despised,
I'm used up,
I am no better than less than,
I am disfigured and demented,
Crumpled and discarded,
Overlooked and overdrawn,
Emotions, sweet as flowery perfume, deadly as poison,
My excess flesh, pulled onto bruised bones,
Torn away by the monsters inside my head,
I am bleeding,
I am fading away.
Who is it that I seek?
The King that stares back at me from the mirror,
He will find no royal blood here,
Just the remains of a life I've ruined 1000 times over.
I am ready to go now, I'm lost,
I am confused and bewildered,
And I lead the way,
I have to get it together, come down from this cloud,
Just close my eyes,
Must follow the noises,
The screams, calling out to me, I must find him, but I don't know who,
It is myself that I seek,
And I awake,
Alone.

Wounds have ripped deep into fabric of time,

She loved how he made her feel so alive.

A WONDROUS THING:
What began as physical attraction
soon wove a path

The cycle of love and pain ebbs and flows
As the rhythm of life comes and goes
First the sublime elation of an undying love

Two nightshades off of a plumb,
A couple of bubbles on the square.
Falling in love is a bit like that.
No room for anything
