His ultimate aim was to live his vision
To find the truth that was somewhere beyond
Human understanding, worldly revelation
He crossed deep ravines, mountains, deep ponds
Beneath which alligators, demons or dragons did dwell
Imagination blending with reality, who could tell
What was real or not on this quest that sent him
Over rivers without bridges and mountains with no summit
Deserts without an oasis; nothing would dim
His intent to stay on course, his need to find 'it'
The answer to his questions, and throughout this trip
Mentally and physically he encountered the dark and mysterious
Occasional glimpses of the light
Frequently sensing what was not in sight
Experiences that challenged him to question, revise redefine
His beliefs, convictions, even the reality of time
Realising he was a part of an interconnected universe
Of experience made up of time, matter, spirit-world and space

A sunshine's drop

REFLECTIONS OF REALITY

Glistening gold from the sunshine;

"R & R"
Our flag, star spangled,
a banner of white, blue and red.
War and unspeakable fear
in letters, unopened, yet
Reflection
Take a step back
Stop and think
Instead of thinking of things you lack
Be aware it could all be gone in a blink
Think
