Atheist vs. Reason
An atheist is someone doesn't believe in God. Some people really don't believe in god, but even of those who profess not to believe, they protest too as though shouting at what is not there. It a bit like watching an older brother trying to convince you that there is no bogeyman and opening closets and looking under beds while making as much noise as possible. You get the distinct impression that he wants to intimidate the bogeyman or at least not catch him by surprise.
The main arguments of Atheist
One of an Atheists' great grievances against God and the existence of God is the chronic presence of evil. Wars, rapes, crimes, immorality, corruption, etc., are examples are readily apparent examples often used as examples. Then the presence of evil is compounded with the apparent lack of justice at the end of the day. The presence of evil and lack of justice are beyond reproach but the question becomes can good and evil co-exist.
Good and evil do co-exist. It is as apparent as light and darkness do co-exist. Do you personally assess yourself as a human being? If you ever have, I'm sure it comes out mostly positive if your honest. Most human beings are good, honest, and kind; most of the time anyway. For most of us, it's not even a thing to question. Then there are other times, when we are tempted by evil to do something that we would consider bad if we saw others doing it. Things like breaking other peoples things, or stealing them.
These things we can justify as bad, but is it really the same as evil. Usually we do not consider those evil. We assess evil as a kind of spirit, as vicious and obnoxious way that is beyond caring. It is even taking pleasure in what is not moral or obviously wrong.
Can good and evil co-exist? Obviously they do and that is especially apparent in humans. Does the presence of evil mean prove or mean that God does not exist? No. How about the apparent lack of justice? People hurt and kill people and they get away with it. They don't go get arrest, come before a judge, and spend time in jail anyway. Do they get away with it? Yes, if you don't believe in God and that a human being is nothing more than the body he inhabits.
Naturalism
Some people believe because you can't scientifically prove God, He does not exist. Even great thinkers like Arthur C. Clark subscribe to that way of thinking. This type of rationalization is called naturalism and believes that all things consist of energy and mass. They believe that supernatural
